The purpose of this prospectus is to help you know more about life and learning at Mohan International School.
At Mohan International School we have a clear understanding of how children learn and continually strive to provide the best possible conditions to this. We acknowledge that we live in a changing world and that we need to prepare our children for tomorrow’s needs. Consequently, we not only place fundamental value on the traditions, but also on the 3Rs of the 21st century:
Resourcefulness (the ability to organize one’s own learning),
Reflectiveness (the ability to think about and evaluates one’s own learning), and
Resilience (the ability to try several strategies and skills in order to succeed).
We acknowledge the importance of developing a caring and stimulating, where children’s high self-esteem enables them to take risks in learning and to learn confidently through their mistakes. We teach children that getting ‘stuck’ are not a sign of failure; rather it is developing strategies for independence. We encourage children to ask questions and for them to learn how to solve challenges and problems.
We make it our business to strive for excellence, empowering children to be happy and responsive. Children are challenged within the delivery of an enriched, creative and linked curriculum. About Mohan International School
The school is situated on a piece of land about 2000 se. met. C-56A/21, Sector-62, of Noida’s Institutional Area. The school is established & run by Siddhartha Education Society (Regd.) which is totally devoted to the cause of education and social & child welfare.
The rich green lawns and flowers blooming freshen up the mind. The multipurpose playground at the back of the school building houses several courts of different games like basketball and volleyball etc. The school also boasts of a swimming pool half the Olympic size Facilities for playing table tennis & badminton are available, children can also learn taekwondo & skating in the school premises.
The School Setup
Mohan International School is a Primary School in Pattern of C.B.S.E. The school is divided into 2 segments presently-Pre-Primary, Primary segments.
In the Pre-primary segment, play-way method of teaching is employed where basic concepts are developed through coloring, free hand drawing and craft. Computer education is a must to provide the contemporary technical dimension to the learning process. Group rhyme competition, art and craft activities, monthly workshops dealing with various aspects of education are organized on a regular basis. In the primary and middle segment apart from conventional teaching, emphasis is laid on activity-based studies.
Science Labs
Well equipped Physics, Chemistry & Biology laboratories and museums with specimen collections have been provided for the students. To supplement their knowledge the students learn by doing themselves all the relevant experiments prescribed in the course. The children put up a Science Exhibition every year.
Activity Room
Imagination is vital for creation. The new, bright and colourful ACTIVITY ROOM is an area which allows the tiny tots to let their imagination go wild. Toys of various sizes and kinds are there for the children to use them. They learn discipline, generosity & the art of sharing and above all an individual flair for creativity.
Art of Craft Room
The children have regular Art & Craft periods in which they work in congenial environment which stimulates artistic vibrancy in them & helps them relax and express their innermost thoughts. The school organizes the work of the young artists on an annual basis in the form of an exhibition.
Audio Visual Room
The school has a well equipped audio visual room with a large selection of audio / visual cassettes and C.D.s to be used as aids and recreation.
Computer Labs
Separate Computer Labs are provided for Junior and Senior classes. The Computer labs have all the software required for academic purposes. Hardware and Software is continuously upgraded to cope with the latest technology and trends.
Computer Labs have their own library with a good number of books, magazines, newsletters & CDs. They are also equipped with Multi-media and Internet facilities.
School Library
Reading enhances one’s imagination and to inculcate this habit the School has provision for two libraries one each for Junior classes. Books, magazines, journals, periodicals and news paper are available at appropriate levels to make reading a fun.
Medical Room
Periodical medical check-ups are necessary for the child’s development. To ascertain proper growth and health of the students, regular health checkups and health related talks are organized by eminent doctors. First-aid facilities are always available to the students.
School Transport
Transport facility on approved bus routes is available for the students. In each vehicle, a teacher ensures the safe boarding and return of every student. The drivers of the bus carry a call phone which enables the school to know the position of the bus at any point of time.
Swimming Pool
The school has a swimming pool with state of art facilities a proper coach & lifeguards, where the children can exercise their mind & body.
Guidance and Counseling
Special guidance and counseling is made available for the students who need extra care on one-to-one bases. Parents as well as students are offered guidance to deal with emotional and behavioral problems.
Health Check-up Facility:
The school arranges for regular health check up of the students by expert pediatricians and doctors. Health checks up Camps are organized in school or regular basis.

The students are divided into 4 houses. Each house is under the charge of teachers & has its own House Captain & Voice Captain responsible for the discipline & performance. Competition & co-curricular activities are held frequently.
Music & Dance
Music is the best way for deep concentration and to feel the GOD nearby. School provides the education through music & dance. The proper training of music & dance is compulsory for every child. This way, child can understand their culture, rich heritage, rituals and realize the innermost conscious.

PURE DRINKING WATER
To provide the students pure, safe, bacteria free mineral water, a special R.O. treatment plant has been installed in the school. This has been done to ensure better health of the students.
POWER BACKUP
The school also ensures continuous flow of current throughout the year by having power backup facility.
SCHOLARSHIP
Students who come out with flying colours and excel in board examination are offered Scholar ship in the form of concessions in school fees and providing books on concessional rates. Scholarships are also offered to all the meritorious students of class I to V who secure more than 85% marks in the Final Examination. Students of nursery to IInd are given merit certificates for securing 85% and above marks in the Final Examination.
CONCESSIONS
The school also offers concession in fees to those whose more than two wards are studying in the school. Students who are extremely meritorious and from economically poor background are also given concession in fees.
ACADEMIC SESSION
The schools session is from April to March with three Terms 1st Term: April to August, 2nd Term: September to December & 3rd Term: January to March.
